The School offers a classroom experience for children from 18 months to 8 years old, who have emotional problems, developmental delays, language deficits, learning disabilities, mild neurological impairments and/or significant health issues. Services and transportation are provided free to the children who are accepted.
The Therapeutic Early Childhood Center School has four programs:

Parents play an important role in the school, and enjoy participating in our cultural, recreational, and educational activities. Classes for parents have included: Arts and Crafts, Introduction to Computers, Creative Writing, Career Planning and The Parent Newsletter. Celebrations occur throughout the year and parents also help to plan the festivities and refreshments for such activities as Thanksgiving, the Winter Holidays Around the World, a Multicultural Celebration, and Graduation.
The T.E.C.C. excels in providing an experiential enrichment component to all students.
The staff includes special educators, psychologists, social workers, speech/language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, an art therapist, a psychiatrist and a nurse.
