Paula Magnus, M.S., joined the Northside managerial team in 1995 as Controller. She has held a variety of roles at Northside and was appointed President in 2026, having most recently served as Deputy Director and Chief Revenue Officer.

Ms. Magnus has been a central member of Northside’s executive leadership team for more than three decades. She worked in direct partnership with the previous Executive Director during a period of sustained programmatic growth, strengthened financial infrastructure, and expanded services across New York City. Her appointment reflects a long-standing succession plan grounded in shared stewardship and deep institutional knowledge.

Ms. Magnus has been responsible for the administration and supervision of all financial and human resources functions for Northside. She has played a significant role in expanding the data processing capabilities for Northside. She has also been instrumental in establishing and implementing procedures and controls with respect to the management of cash flow and investments. She provides regular data analysis and financial information to the managerial staff and the Board of Directors.

Ms. Magnus received her Master’s of Science degree in Accounting from Armstrong College in Berkeley, California, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Memphis State University.
